UV Index does not collect, store, or share any personal information.
The app uses your device’s location (GPS) solely to display the current UV index for your area. Location data is never stored, transmitted, or shared with third parties.
UV Index uses the Open-Meteo API (open-meteo.com) to fetch UV index forecasts. Only your approximate coordinates are sent to this service to retrieve weather data. Open-Meteo does not store personal data.
Local notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
